I'm still using FG 0.9.8 for various reasons: I have a Mac; the

precompiled Mac binary is for Mac OS 10.4, which I haven't upgraded

to; and I haven't done my own compile.


A couple of things: you can check the older versions out from data 'data' CVS, once you learn the necessary CVS options to check out to a certain date (or even tag, if Curt has been tagging releases). Other people than myself are better qualified to explain the necessary incantations to achieve this, however.

The other thing is, assuming you are on 10.3.9, then the 10.4 binary should work; if it doesn't, I'll produce a Mac binary for the upcoming release (probably on Sunday when I have time to watch a compiler rebuild incessantly...). I'll do the necessary magic to ensure that release works on 10.3.9 - it's usually a pretty trivial amount of magic, but probably means another full rebuild.

If you are still on 10.2, then I extend my condolences.
