Yeah, I thought about texture and light, but learning another are in Blender, 
and I gather some xml animation will be involved for a beacon light at the top,
both of which will take some more time. But as you said this is a simple enough 
model to learn new tricks on, and I will pursue some of these enhancements.

I am having difficulty in parsing the last clause, may be it is a joke that I 
don't get :-)
May be I will understand when I find put what LOD is.
