My first thought was: WTF?!? ... and the second was: whoops, embarrassing.
The initial model was called /cursor, but at some time I thought it was a
better idea to name it /model. It was not. /model is already reserved for
the aircraft model. This is fixed in CVS. It's called /cursor again. But
I don't expect people to use that much on the command line, as it's much
move convenient to choose from the m-key dialog.

You probably just don't find it. It should have been written as
%APPDATA%/flightgear.org/ufo-model-export.xml   on MICROS~1 Windows[TM]
~/.fgfs/ufo-model-export.xml                    everywhere else
