base pkg 9.9-9.10 update. I get a message that it cant find the data dir. I'm sure I have it at the wrong level. I've lot of Mac experience but not UNIX or terminal. Could you walk me through it?

Thanks.

Unlike Arthur's builds, my binary is pure FlightGear, with no GUI at all, and for the pre-release I have not included the base package inside the application bundle - for the final release I will include it, I guess.

Let us assume you have the 'data' directory on your desktop, and you also copy the FlightGear application to your desktop. Then, in a terminal:

cd ~/Desktop

./FlightGear.app/Contents/MacOS/fgfs --fg-root=~/Desktop/data

(and any other options you wish to specify, such as --airport-id= or --aircraft=)

Hopefully this make sense; however I suspect i'm not the best person to explain this in simple terms!
