Hello Chris
Chris Wilkinson writes
Not sure I conveyed my meaning correctly; if you look at the
rgb texture for the A320 you will see there is only part of
the texture for the tail, which mirrors on both sides. If
you want to create a texture with different graphics on each
side of the tail its therefore not possible with that texture.
Jetstar Airways in Australasia has a different design on each
side so it will be impossible for me to create a Jetstar texture
that is faithful to the design on the real A320's, unless I can
do something with the texture and how it is mapped onto the AC3D
model...
Yes the A320 seems to have an interesting mapping and it would appear
the only way to change it would be to remap the aircraft in AC3D or Blender.
Another thing I noticed in AC3D is if the fuselage has more than one color,
as the
nose of the aircraft seems to share its part of the texture with the top of
the
fuselage.
I can't remember who did the A320 maybe they could suggest how to get around
it.
Cheers
Innis
