I installed the Windows version of FGFS 9.10 on my computer last night. I'm running a Sony Vaio with Windows XP and I have an ATI All-in-Wonder 9000 Pro graphics card with the latest drivers installed.
First of all, congrats to the developers and all the guys working on this project. This seens to be the hottest version of FGFS yet and my first flight last night in the F16 showed me that I have functional runway lighting again. This was not the case with the old 9.9 version. I was impressed with the scenery quality and had high frame rates and a very enjoyable flight out of KORD in Chicago.
The second flight was not so good. For some odd reason I have lost all red color and everything is blue/green. Frame rates are now around 1 - 4 fps. Weird. So I loaded FGFS 9.10 on my work laptop and had exactly the same experience....first flight was perfect. The second time I fired up the program there was no red anywhere to be found and frame rates were dismal.
I'm in the process of reinstalling the program to see if this fixes the problem but I have the sneaking suspicion that it will react exactly the same way.
Is this a bug? Has anybody else running Windows XP with ATI graphics has this dilemma?
Thanks in advance for the help.If there is no solution, where can I get version 9.9 to reinstall? I can't live without my FGFS. :-)
Brian
