It could well be - I tested a few of those mentioned and they worked fine, but 
of course I'm using cvs.  The C172r I believe was "repaired" after the 0.9.10 
release, so that might well be broken on the download page.  Most of the 
others though look like they should have been in working order when the 
release was made?

Also, having just checked, it seems that the tu154 is actually a yasim a/c 
anyway so how that one could be showing the JSBSim error is beyond me...

I'd still say that removing all traces of fgfs from the machine and starting 
from scratch wouldn't be a bad idea to begin with.
