OpenAL compiled at one time under Cygwin, but I tried to update it, and now, try as I will, I get errors GRRRR.... The svn seems to be a bit of a shambles for the moment. If/when you get some answers, please let us all know. Meanwhile, I'm using MSVC8, downloaded free from MS. It's a real chore to get that set up, but once done it works fine.
