If that is how it is supposed to work then you are right I did misunderstand 
and thanks for clarifying

Yes FLightgear works for me too - I just noticed the error because I was 
running it from a bash shell

Oh I know - it is working for me as well - I was just trying to eliminate the 
little trashy errors like the one we are seeing.
