Writing as a 'kinda-n00b' in Linux. Have installed Kanotix 2005-4 Lite,
a Debian spinoff, as I understand.
Kernel version 2.6.14.
Using Kpackage (package manager) to install FlightGear 10, and
dependencies listed as:
depends
freeglut3, libalut0, libc6 (>= 2.3.6-6), libgcc1 (>= 1:4.1.0),
libglu1-xorg | libglu1, libice6, libjpeg62, libopenal0a, libsm6,
