..set up your own local scenery files right next to FG, then specify
_both_ with `--fg-scenery=/path/to/FG/Scenery:/path/to/your/own`,
in my own case: ' --fg-scenery=/usr/share/games/FlightGear/\
Scenery:/mnt/FlightGearScenery /pub/fgfs/Scenery-0.9.10 '.

..the colon ties the 2 sceneries together into one joint, the backslash
ties the 2 lines  together into one line.  Etc.
