I can't tell if this is just me, or everyone, but ftp.flightgear.org seems to be having a major problem right now. This one is serious because it seems to lock up firefox. MSIE doesn't seem to choke on it, but neither it or my FTP client can log into it anonymous.
They all seem to get the same error (Firefox also mentions not understanding "500", before it becomes improperly responsive and has to be killed manually). Everything seems to be in order on my side of things. A "log" follows. Connected to 128.101.142.113:21 in 0.070100 seconds, Waiting for Server Response 220 FTP Server ready. Host type (1): Automatic detect USER anonymous 500 not understood I'm at a loss to explain this, since I'm not an FTP expert. Not sure if there's a related problem with the list flightgear-devel at flightgear.org, but I'm getting bounced mail before it gets there.
