I was always under the impression that to get the new airport btg file (ie KPHN.btg) you needed to run the updated apt.dat fragment through TerraGear... have you found a way to avoid TerraGear using FGSD? It's been about 6 months since I last used FGSD and, as far as I'm aware, FGSD couldn't do this conversion then but can imagine how that might have been incororpated into it. FGSD rebuilds it but it does not include lights or runway smoothing yet
