I tried to get MP working and appear to be 50%
successful. I set the parameters up in fgrun using the WIKI as a guide,
start flightgear and can see and track my aircraft on the server map web
site.
However I'm not sure I can see others. On the map
there is a stationary aircraft mpdummy off the apron at KSFO runway 28L.
But I cannot see it or the occasional other aircraft that I have tried to view
when someone is in the KSFO area. Should I be able to see an aircraft
there?
Environment is a Home based PC, cable modem, Belkin
Router. I have setup the Virtual server on the Router for flightgear
to route UDP activity on ports 5000-5002 to the local PC Ipaddress.
In the FGRUN config it defaults to the PC name which
should resolve to the same IPDADDRESS the router has. I have also hard
coded that IPADDRESS into FGRUN with no difference.
I may have just answered my question and will test if I
should be using the IP Address from the router, also IPCONFIGs DEFAUTL GATEWAY
address instead?
