You will have to edit preferences.xml. Look for the following in the file: <ai> <enabled type="bool">true</enabled> <!-- scenario>nimitz_demo</scenario --> <!--scenario>aircraft_demo</scenario--> </ai> And uncomment the nimitz_demo line. (Remove the !-- and --.) After that, load FlightGear, fly straight ahead in the direction of 280, and you will be able to find the carrier. I think you could also use TACAN to locate the carrier.
