REF: extreme-3d-pro.xml and/or the default joystick
As a effort to solve the button #5 problem I have re-downloaded
freealut's CVS and SimGear's CVS versions so that Flightgear-0.9.10
would be happy.
freealut (needed by SimGear) had a include file.h in the wrong
directory. cp fixed that.
SimGear had one file.h location wrong in as I remember alutInternal.h.
Fixed.
Both very cleanly compiled in SuSE10.1 with gcc 4.1.0 and installed
without a problem.
Now to flightgear's CVS. It had one include/file.h as <file.h>.
However, the file was in Input/file.h. Fixed it and Flightgear very
cleanly compiled. This missing file.h would effect fgfs and/or js_demo.
I installed over the old version
I still have the same problem. A hard coded button #5 to fuel mixture.
js_demo shows all buttons as "Btns 0000" to work predictably.
#5 is shown as 0010 which looks correct -
The "axis" seem to work correctly. However, seem a bit too sensitity.

Any toughts? I suspect a joystick default is the source of the problem
Also please note that joystick.xml in /data/ has mention of a directory
/Local/ which is not there nor is the file.xml. However, many
manufacturers of Joystick units is there.
