Hope this isn't too rambling and too many topics. I suppose some should
probably go to the programming list.
Is there a better way to change the setting on the KLN189 than through the
mouse clicking the screen hotspots?
Is there a way to reduce the amount of Chatter and modify the messages
so they are more consistent with a small non-towered airport.
Would it be possible to add chatter/radio calls to an AI flight plan so
that a plane working a pattern would make correct CTAF calls during the
circuit. For a towered airport adding the tower side would be nice as
well.
Could all user initiated radio calls be verbalized/echoed through the
chatter mechanism and the tower reply's.?
AWOS and ASOS frequencies could these be implemented the same way that ATIS
is, just skipping the airport information part of the message?
Could additional starting locations at an airport be specified other than
middle of the runway. I think that two additional options could be
readily added, one on the taxiway to the RIGHT and one to the LEFT. For
instance choosing 4R in the FGRUN selection list for current center of
runway 4 right. Add another list or dropdown, adding all the options to a
large airport KSFO would probably be a mess, with the options Center,
Taxiway Right and Taxiway left. By choosing Taxiway Right locate the
aircraft to the right of the center by the width of the runway and reorient the
nose 90 degrees left facing the runway. So instead of centered along the runway
course the plane is on the taxiway to the right of center on a heading of
310 standing by ready for take off.
Airports / Scenery rebuild: I have added the correct taxiway
information for KPHN and it has been updated through Robins database. I
have also managed to rebuild the tile using FGSD but the resulting tile has some
problems. First the ground color and road tracks do not match the
surrounding tiles. Secondly the airport lighting is lost. Is is
possible to beg for a rebuild of a specific 10 x 10 area, having Lake Huron at
Lake level not sea level would be nice also. If a specific section is
rebuilt would the adjacent tile alignment problem result?
