Reading from the digest, I'd advise against installing the 32-bit distro on the 64-bit box. If you can't get 32-bit binaries built, I'd say forget it and let someone with the skills do it in c++. With 10.1 x86_64 installed, you can build 32-bit binaries. I don't know if it's possible with pascal, but gcc has a -m32 option, configure options --libdir=32 --libsuffix=32 are also available. On my Athlon 64x2 I got a floating point exception, I'll collect the data later.
