..Curtis, check out ' rpmbuild --help ' or ' rpm --help ' for ideas,
back in my Red Hat days I used to ' rpmbuild -t tarball.tgz ', it
was(is?) also possible to rpmbuild stuff off a .spec file, rpmbuild 
would then wget whatever it needs, except not fix dependencies. ;o)
