You do seem to have a couple points there. I assumed that there was a GUI
editor for the making of FGFS Aircraft, but a lot of FGFS related software
is Linux based, and to run it in windows, you either need to find a
pre-compiled binary file or get Cygwin and try that. Cygwin never does
anything I want it to do, though. Whenever I tried to use Cygwin, it failed
miserably. And I usually don't have the time to do omething like that for a
plane like the Seneca, so I thought if the "base" plane isalready done, wy
not just take from the cabin and fix it up a bit. Doesn't that seem a
little easier? But thanks for correcting me on that cygwin thing.

Which software is this? You don't need to compile any software at all to
build a/c for FG, you don't even need Cygwin. You need patience, a text
editor, 3d modelling software (eg blender or AC3D) and some graphics
software
(e.g. inkscape & gimp).

If everyone took that attitude, FG wouldn't exist at all! If you want a
particular model, why not roll up your sleeves and get busy? Believe me,
if
I (utterly lacking in artistic abilities) can do it, anyone can...
Actually,
modifying an existing model is probably an ideal place to start, since
creating a new a/c from scratch is a lot of work (though by no means
impossible even for a complete newbie.)
By the way, if the Seneca is out of date I hate to think what the Camel
which
we're currently remodelling is :-)
Anyway - give it a go... if you need pointers, the wiki contains many
useful
bits of information and the FG IRC channel is a great place to go for help
or
advice.
Cheers,
AJ
