Hi,

just to add, I got some gray hair about "the sound problem" because it
was only FlightGear related - despite installed drivers with OpenSUSE
10.x and KDE:
After intensive Google-research I found this, it worked for me, from
there no further problems :-)

1. Create ~/.openalrc file
2. Content:
(define devices '(native alsa sdl esd arts null))
