Can you turn on the frame rate display and check what frame rates you are
getting when this stuttering happens? If it is something greater than 60
(like 280), then you haven't really synced to vblank correctly.

Unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem. The stuttering and failure to
read
joystick axes continues after a few minutes of flight with good
visibility... :(
