Oh, and there are differnt typoes of dancing. You've seen the ballroom
dancing, waltz, tango, etc. There is also West Coast Swing, which is much
less formal, and a LOT more fun.
Check out this link. These are two of the best dancers inthe country, but
many of their moves are basic moves. Keep in mind that this isn't a
coreographed arrangement like "Dancing with the Stars". They picked each
others names out of a hat, and the song was a random one. They'd danced
together before, and to this song before, but haven't rehearsed this
routine. It's made up on the spot. The place where she throws her leg over
was COMPLETELY impromptu, and if you watch it in slow motion (I do, to study
the moves), he was a little surprised by it, but adapted well.

You ought to try it some time. Give the wife some lessons for her birthday
some time. Don't do private lessons (which are REAL expensive, like $70 an
hour). Do a group lesson, which is usually about $60-$70 for an 8 week
course. Some of the dance halls even have free mini lessons.
