I have noticed the same with FG/plib (ThinkPad T60, FC6, 1GB and 3GB of RAM, Intel T2500 aka 2GHz Core Duo, ATI X1400, fglrx). That is why I use FG/OSG I have built myself. Oh, you could fly at other places than KSFO.
