Hi Jeremy,

the only and last idea I have is that you own a joystick with one axis
assigned to the propeller speed control (like I have with my Saitek X
45, 2 axis assigned to both propeller and mixture). I tested with my
joystick that it is *sometimes* not possible to influence the propeller
speed with the keys, it seems to be "locked" upwards by the joystick axis.
At other positions I can move it with the keys, too.
So please check whether your joystick - if you own any - has one axis
for the propeller speed. That could solve your problem.
