The Lightning is a very good choice for the upcoming release, quite superior in my personal experience in ver. 0.9.10 over the f16. I found it odd that people were worried about the B1900D's complexity's but the Lightning was being suggested. So I pointed to my experience as an example to show that if this release wanted to focus on ease of use then the Lightning was an odd choice. It was hard work to start the Lightning the first time but it was palpable excitement once accomplished and it becomes routine after the first time. Focusing too much on ease of use is also bad and might give the impression of FG being more like a simple toy. The only place were cartoons should be is in Ogel and Santa. Quick start procedures do have their place in situations were one wishes to get airborne quickly. Given the option I will choose quick start about 3/4 of the time out of laziness. What irritates me though is when I do want to go through a cold start a whole bunch of aircraft don't support cold starts. So I request that aircraft authors make an effort to add cold starts. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
