Err   goes with FlightGear-0.9.11-pre

To conclude you have to build and to install yourself,  first  (before to 
build FlightGear) SimGear-1.0.0 from source.

I recommend to start  from a cleaned situation  
=>clean your /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/FlightGear-1.0.0/  directory
=>uninstall the old SimGear RPM package

Later on, i guess, that Fedora 8 will offer the full RPM  package about 
FlightGear-1.0.0
