I hope someone has tips, tricks, or suggestions to help resolve problems I'm having with two amphibious aircraft.
A24-Viking: Virturally uncontrollable at taxi speed on the water - generally just goes in circles no matter what I do with the controls. PBY-Catalina: Functions just fine starting from land. Getting a load of water and then back into the air is a bit tricky, but doeable. Starting from water the speed will not go above 40 kts (yes, I took the brake/anchor off). Thanks in advance for any help on these issues. BTW - The dhc2-Beaver with floats is a pleasure to fly, either from water or land.
