Hey all
Im new to Flightgear and to open source, but eagerly downloaded
Flightgear 1.0. (for windows).
I installed the software, all went fine, then when I went to run it i
got the following message:

The program opens, select aircraft ok, select runaway ok, then on the
MSDOS shell window brings up the following error message...
'Failed to find Waypoint AMOSY in the database...
 WARNING: JS: Failed to read joystick name from registry
 Fatal error: No Joystick configuration file with <name>default</name>
entry found!'

I downloaded the driver pack from logitech for my attack 3 joystick and
all checked out ok. I also ran the fgjs program and got successful
readings for deadband. Ran js_demo and also got the following error
messages:

 "WARNING: JS: Failed to read joystick name from registry.
 Joystick test program
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Joystick 0 is "Microsoft PC-joystick driver"
 Joystick 1 not detected.
 +---------------------------------------- +
 0000 -0.0  -0.0  -1.0   -1.0   -1.0   -1.0 "
I ommited the JS1 side as I only have 1 joystick plugged in, so there
was nothing to report.
Can anyone help me understand what is going on with my system and what I
need to do to rectify it.
My system: Windows Vista SP1
                   AMD Phenom 9600 Quad Core Processor 2.3 GHz
                   4GB Ram
                   500GB Hard drive.
Thanks heaps
Glenn.
