I recently downloaded FlightGear and have been able to compile and run it on my linux desktop and laptop. The documentation available has been helpful for understanding and using most of the features.
However, I am having a problem with the signs package <http://members.aon.at/mfranz/flightgear/signs.html>. After starting signs, fgfs is forked and connection established, the RGB texture files for nearby airports are also created in the cache/A/ directory, but the following error messages are printed and the signs do not appear in the FlightGear window. ------ Could not find at least one of the following objects for animation: sign Could not find at least one of the following objects for animation: sign .. (Repeated many times: ~ equal to number of nearby airports ) ------ (Detailed log is attached with this mail) I could not find any documents related to this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
