I have loaded the terrain files for my home country (Sweden). Then I have started flights from airports that I know, either because I have actually flown myself from them or because I have travelled on commercial flights to/from them.
I have noted that the terrain underneath my flight is only simulated where real features like small islands in lakes or sea bays are not present and populated areas are nowhere like what they are in real life. Lake shapes are also hard to recognize. Questions: 1) Is there any way one can use real maps or satellite imagery to fly over? Like using Google Earth imagery to represent the terrain? 2) Failing use of satellite imagery, is there a possibilty to increase the accuracy of sea/lake boundaries and road stretches? They are very coarse now... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Create and Deploy Rich Internet Apps outside the browser with Adobe(R)AIR(TM) software.
