I would very much like to know if this list is mirrored on a news server somewhere where it actually also works?
I found it on Gmane, but there it is read only, whenever I try to post on that ng my message bounces. Not so for other lists via Gmane... Gmane data: Server: news.gmane.org Newsgroup: gmane.games.flightgear.general Gmane is generally very good (for newsgroups that work) because it is extremely fast for downloading headers and message bodies. But since it relays to a mail list posting may be a bit sluggy (when it works). The Flightgear ng does not work for posting.... My problem is that I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003 as the mail handler for other reasons that I cannot change now. Outlook is extremely lacking in the handling of mail lists and news (there is no news handling at all). For example it does not care about the headers at all.
