I now have the cessna 172p following waypoints, and am now ready to proceed to the next step. It seems like at this point I need to modify the flightgear code to allow me to specify waypoints remotely. I also want to have the display captured to disk (and I am dealing with 1280x1024 resolution - so, even at a paltry 30fps, this will take a lot of disk IO if I go uncompressed).
I noticed the jpg-httpd option - but the quality and throughput just isnt what im looking for. Additionally, I don't see any way to feed waypoints remotely (but i bet I could implement a remote-route-manager code to do what the existing route manager does externally... that might be good enough). I will just proceed in this direction - adding in an uncompressed command line option and remote waypoint-adding code; would I be duplicating efforts - or is there already a way to do this? -- Carson ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stay on top of everything new and different, both inside and around Java (TM) technology - register by April 22, and save $200 on the JavaOne (SM) conference, June 2-5, 2009, San Francisco. 300 plus technical and hands-on sessions.
