Hi,

I am running flightgear 1.9.1 compiled from source on a Fedora 8
system. I also downloaded the data file, FlightGear-data-1.9.0.tar.bz2
. I can fly around in the stock Cessna 172 but when I try to invoke the
panel only mode (fgfs --aircraft=c172p-panel-only) it complains as follows:

Failed to load instrumentation system model:
/storage/apps/flightgear/data/Aircraft/c172/panel-only-instrumentation.xml
Error reading panel:
Failed to open file
  at /storage/apps/flightgear/data/Aircraft/c172/Panels/c172-610x-panel.xml

   called from:

I checked in my data/Aircraft directory and there is nothing for "c172",
only for "c172p". Thinking I maybe deleted the "c172" directory I
looked in the original FlightGear-data-1.9.0.tar.bz2 file but it doesn't
exist there either.

Luckily I have an old complete copy of flightgear and data that did have
the "c172" dir and I was able to symlink it like this:

[bw...@surge Aircraft]$ pwd
/storage/apps/flightgear/data/Aircraft
[bw...@surge Aircraft]$ ln -s ../../../flightgear.old/data/Aircraft/c172

At this point the panel only mode worked fine. So is this a problem?
Is the "c172" dir supposed to be included in the data file? I did a
quick google search and didn't see anything else about the problem .. am
I really the first one to notice it in all these months?

Thanks,
Ben
