Hello Lino, according to your libopenal.so.1.11.753 file, you have the same version as I have here (no developer here, just a long-term user). So I can assume that the header files are also 1.11.753 but please double-check this.
Mine are looking like this: (hint: use "ls -l" to have a similar output) --------------------------- -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7850 2008-07-22 22:48 alc.h -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7035 2009-11-29 07:18 alext.h -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 25803 2009-12-17 07:50 al.h -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5178 2008-07-06 23:09 alut.h --------------------------- So please compare yours with them. :) So I also presume that compilation and linking went fine with OpenAL? No strange output at all? You can see it separated from the standard output by doing this: $ make 2>debug.log And then a "cat|less|more|foo|bar debug.log". Please choose one of them. ;-) And yes, I cannot really fix your problem. :/ Just wild guesses and some tries to isolate the issue a little. Regards, Roland
