Greetings,
I am trying a new approach to handle runway view of tail dragger planes
such as j3cub. I want your opinion.
I tried to understand what real pilots do on those issues. It seems that
in addition to taxing in S pattern they stretch up in their chair, tilt
their head and so on. Most of the head movement is done unintentionall.
In order to overcome those problems I adopted the "seat up/down" concept
implemented on some aircrafts such as the Hawkere Hunter and I added 3
more keys 'b', 'n' and 'm' for tilt head left, center and right
respectively, which you can use on taxi and takeoff/land. Once airborne,
you can return to normal view by <Shift> 'U' key and 'n' key.
I would like to get your feedback and I will highly appreciate any of
you is willing to try this attempt.
At this point, anyone who is willing to try this, give me a call on my
e-mail address and I will provide you with the updated version of the
files need to be changed.
