Ye, I also started with SLAX and then SliTaz, I find SliTaz easier to 
work with (more up to date).
My current liveCD effort is based on latest Ubuntu just because it is 
easier to get a ISO out using Remastersys.
The final version will hopefully use SliTaz (so it wil fit on a CD).
