In addition to increasing the drag of the air brakes these probably also reduce the lift produced by the wing since this type of device typically brakes up the airflow over part of the wing. So you should consider changing lift="0" to something like: lift="-<some number other than 0>" Where <some number other than 0> is determined by trying different values.
