It was suggested by a person that I bring this one here.
First, I have openSuSE 11.4 V2 and a very recent version of FlightGear2
along with the fgdata V2.
My problem is that fgfs2 works correctly (with a limited number of
Airplanes). The sound is where i have a problem and that is ATC fails
yet the engine and stall buzzer works correctly. No chatter is heard
from an enabled ATC with it's volume up.
Is this 2 problem or openSuSE problem.
I will say that openSuSE has gone security mad for end users. They have
by default set /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer to 660 which makes kmix and other
programs fail. I set mine to 666 and now fgfs sound works. but ATC
still fails
