Hi all,
I recently set up FGCOM, and had it working for a while, but recently it has
not
functioned correctly.
First of all:
* I'm running FGv2.0.0
* I use Mac OS X 10.6.3 on a MacBook (With IntelCoreDuo processing)
* I have FGRun
Now, the steps that I take to set up my FGCOM
1. In FGRun, I choose my aircraft (After I'm sure the 'space' key is
not used),
airport, and runway.
2. In the 'Network' Section, I make sure I choose an active server
nearest to
me (usually 05), enable multiplay, and enable FGCOM.
3. I run FlightGear.
4. I open a Terminal command window:
* cd /Applications/FlightGear.app/Contents/Resources
* ./fgcom -Sfgcom.flightgear.org.uk -f910
5. And eventually, after the usual text, I get "Call 0 accepted" and
"Call 0
answered."
6. For about one second, it works, then it says..."Call 0 timed out."
7. I usually ^C it, and restart it with the -f910 option enabled, and
it works
fine standalone.
8. I ^C it again, and go to my fgfs window.
9. I set my COM1 to 910.00
10. Back in Terminal, I run FGCOM again, omitting the -f910 option.
11. It runs, and I get everything up to: "Initializing IAX client as
guest:xxxxxxxx...@fgcom.flightgear.org.uk"
12. I hold 'Space' when FGFS is the active window, but nothing happens.
What really baffles me is that this worked fine up until about a week ago, and
I
haven't changed anything on my computer since then.
I appreciate the developers who reply to this and anyone else who helps.
Thanks,
Ignacio
Have a safe and pleasant flight.
Ignacio
