I am getting a similar error: $ sh fgfs-command-line.sh libpng warning: Application built with libpng-1.2.49 but running with 1.5.10 Unknown exception in the main loop. Aborting...
I had just done a fresh fc17 install from a DVD, copied back in my git sources for plib, osg, simgear, and fgfs. Everything compiled and linked OK. The above abort is only a second or two after I run the the simple launch script which is copied below. cd /usr/local/bin ./fgfs --fg-root=/home/dad/FlightGear-git/fgdata --fg-scenery=/home/dad/FlightGear-git/fgdata/Scenery --aircraft=pa24-250-CIIB --airport=KHAF --enable-fullscreen cd ~ I thought perhaps I had not properly installed akmod-nvidia. So I installed FlightGear-2.6.0-2.fc17 using yum. It runs fine with the nvidia driver. Anyone else having similar problems? Dave P.
