Well, now I have another oddity.  I downloaded the scenery 
tarballs
w090n30 and w090n40.  When I flew east from KSTL, there is 
an obvious
end to the scenery tiles at about 90 degrees 30 minutes West.
Well, I figured that is pretty close to the edge of the w090 
scenery,
so I downloaded w080n30 and w080n40 exactly the same way
as I did for the w090 files, but I still have no scenery 
east of there.
I'm not sure how to debug this.
