In 0.67 the variable substitution only works for files, in 0.68 it is more generic and works everywhere including in flow-tag, flow-xlate and flow-nfilter.

Seems that filter doesn't expand to SRC-DST-IP_RTL like expected. Looking a little bit at the code makes me hope, that variables are referenced via @VAR. Other doc I've not found.
