Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to release 0.68 yet where this works. I have to play network engineer for another few months before getting back to flow-tools development.

In 0.67 the variable substitution only works for files, in 0.68 it is more generic and works everywhere including in flow-tag, flow-xlate and flow-nfilter.

Hi Mark,

can you explain, how variable subst. works in ft-0.67, please ?

Trying the following unsuccessfully:

stat-report traffic-per-address
  type ip-address
  filter [EMAIL PROTECTED]
  [...]
flow-report -v CUSTOMER=RTL -s report
flow-report: report line 16: Filter definition not found.
flow-report: ftstat_load(): failed

Seems that filter doesn't expand to SRC-DST-IP_RTL like expected. Looking a little bit at the code makes me hope, that variables are referenced via @VAR. Other doc I've not found.

Thanks a lot --Andreas
