Is there an example tag.sym file?
try adding your definitions to there. I have noticed that the install
seems to strip the .sym part from example file names.
ie in my debian install the man page for flow-report reports the path wrong
-s stat_fname
Report configuration filename. Defaults to
/etc/flow-tools/cfg/stat.
It should say /etc/flow-tools/cfg/stat.cfg
So for you I would expect you sym file to be called:-
/usr/local/etc/flow-tools/tag.sym
or (if you have a similar directory structure to mine)
/usr/local/etc/flow-tools/sym/tag.sym
One of these files should exist, locate it and add your tag definitions.
