Are you talking about running it on the host or in the virtual machine?
Regardless, I don't see how VMWare and flow-tools could impact each other.
I haven't actually tried it, but I'm completely convinced it will work.
I'd love to hear if someone expects or has experience with it not working!!!
At least SNMP agents, where you're also receiving UDP packets *do* work
both on the host (running virtual machines) and on each of the virtual
machines.
