To prevent the NetFlow table from overflowing, you can do the following:
– Keep the flow mask at the least granular value. For example, if the protocol and Layer 4 port
information is not required, set the flow mask to the destination-source or to the destination
instead of to full flow.
– Set the aging time to the least possible value (one second), depending on the traffic profile.
– Enable bridged flow statistics only on the VLANs on which the intraVLAN statistics are
required. InterVLAN statistics are reported by default.

Hi all,
I'm now trying to export flows from different devices. Specially from two 6509 Cisco Switch. The behaviour of the export was more or less constant (aprox. 4k flows per second) until we change the IOS version to the 12.2
Now, we receive aprox 60 flows every second from the CPU engine, every 4 seconds aprox 600 flows from the supervisor card, and every 30 seconds aprox 17000 flows. This cyclic behaviour wouldnt be so bad if all flows were exported, but we notice that we loose lots of flows.
Someone has detected something related?
