[STR New] Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2108 Version: 1.3-current Docs for fl_rect() should indicate what negative side effects fl_line_style() may cause, and what behaviors are guaranteed (if any). Example: line thickness >0 can cause the rectangle to draw outside the xywh region (significant when drawing borders around widgets), and pixel centering may not be guaranteed (causing lopsided rectangles when clipped at the xywh boundary). On win32, there appears to be a problem with endcaps at the lower right corner. A thread in fltk.general entitled "draw results differ in linux and mac" (started 12/19/08) raises details of this STR. At very least, it should mention fl_line_style() may cause unexpected results, and should probably cover whether dotted lines are supported or not. (Apparently internally fl_rect() is /not/ implemented as 4 fl_line() calls, which folks might assume) Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2108 Version: 1.3-current _______________________________________________ fltk-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.easysw.com/mailman/listinfo/fltk-bugs
