If you are using 1.1.9 or 1.3, you will find a chapter on FLTK in a
multithreaded environment under "Advanced FLTK".

If you are using an earlier version of FLTK, I suggest that you upgrade.

For FLTK 2 question, you'd have to ask on the list again.
