[STR New] Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2226 Version: 1.3-current Fix Version: 1.3-current The need for remove() has always been there in FLTK 1.x and probably in FLTK 2.0 as well - it is a new feature for more consistency that we introduced with FLTK 1.3, and this won't be "fixed" in FLTK 1.1 (although I'd like to do it and have done it in my local production version). I took the opportunity to add a note to the 1.3 docs in Fl.cxx (delete_widget) about remove() in FLTK 1.1, as you suggested, when I fixed a typo and some more. Please feel free to correct the text, if you think that it can be expressed in better English. And yes, I thought so about your "dumping ground...", and I think that your other suggestions are good to do as well.
