Yeah... Linux wants -lXcursor in fltk2-config for sure. That has come up a few times already as I have messed with the test code and themes (with very little luck in the themes because they are, how shall I say... a good example of why people should do themes in external plugins.)
You just compile the lib the way you'd do an executable but with no main() and you link it with LD_FLAGS or whatever they're called like this... BLAH = --shared -fPIC The Position Independent Code (PIC) may not even be too important, but it can't hurt. The 'main()' function is the caller. It works.
